Saturday Mar. 13 Reminder to set your clocks ahead for Daylight Saving Time. Also, a reminder to bring non-perishable items to the service on Sunday for the Salvation Army Food Pantry.
Announcements and Reminders:
Today is Communion Sunday. It is also Deacon’s Fund Sunday. This is a discretionary fund used by the Pastor to meet various needs in the congregation and community. Next Sunday is Sacrifice Sunday. Non-perishable items will be collected and given to the Salvation Army Food Pantry. Also, we will be celebrating the March birthdays & anniversaries.
Today is the start of our America For Christ Offering. This is one of our four major offerings we give to during the year. Please prayerfully consider what the Lord would have you give. We will be receiving the offering during the four Sundays in March. Our goal is $700.
There will be a Missions Meeting on Monday, (8th) at 1:30 PM.
There will be a Board Meeting on Monday (8th) at 6:30 PM.
* Starting March 14th, we will be going back to Sunday School during the service (right after the children’s sermon). Karri Bennett will teach and Ann Rairdon will be the substitute teacher.
Our Community Lenten Service this Wednesday at 7:00 PM will be at Houlton United Methodist Church. The theme will be “Who Is My Neighbor” – “Adopt-A-Block”. Refreshments following the service.
The Houlton Regional Hospital Service is March 14th at 2:00 PM. We hope you plan on assisting us.
Ladies, Mark your calendar for Ladies Night Out on March 26th, (Fri.) at 6:30 PM at Oakfield Baptist Church. It will be a fun evening with refreshments and a very entertaining film.
