Announcements and Reminders:

Our Sunday School Kickoff will be September 5th!  The children will be dismissed during the worship service to attend Sunday School as they did this past year.  Following Sunday School on the 5th, there will be a get-together for the children.  If the weather is good, it will be at Karri Bennett’s home - bring bathing suits.  If weather is questionable, the activity will be at church.

On Sunday, Sept. 12th we will need someone to teach Sunday School.    Both Ann Rairdon and Karri Bennett will be away.  We also need people to be on standby to teach Sunday School or Jr. Church during the weeks that  we have children under the 4th grade.  Contact person:  Ann Rairdon -532-2687 or the church office – 532-3196.

Reminder:  The church sanctuary is open for prayer during the weekdays.

Military Street Baptist Church is inviting our congregation to consider participating in a “city-wide” prayer meeting on Wednesday, September 1, 6:30 PM at Military Street Baptist Church.  This invitation has come out of conversations with various pastors in our area.  There is a growing desire to prayerfully partner as the Body of Christ in Houlton.  The first meeting will determine how often and where this prayer meeting should happen.  After that we will pray.
